PostHeaderIcon Endearing Qualities That Make Filipinas Desired By Men All Over The World

Here are the general qualities that make Filipinas desired around the world as great brides and mothers. I do not want to distract you from the fact that there are the unsavory types of Filipinas just like you will find in countries all over the world. However this is how most men who are in sucessful relationships with good Filipinas find there wives to be. I count myself as one of them.

Filipina girls are renowned for their beauty.

They surely stand out among Asian women in terms of charm and femininity. If you think other way you probably have never seen Angela Perez Baraquio – the first Asian American and Filipino American who was crowned Miss America 2001 and Miss Hawaii, the two winners of Miss Universe and the countless who won the other international beauty pageants.

Filipinas are a delight to be around because of their disposition and personality.

Since birth Filipinas are raised in a special sense of honor called Delikadesa (or Delicadeza). Delicadeza is a Spanish term which when translated in English means daintiness. It is defined as a sense of propriety, an act of being refined or delicate in tastes and manners.

It is Delikadesa that gives Filipino women such admirable qualities and distinguish them from Western women. You will never find a proper Filipina bring shame onto herself and her family by lying, cheating, stealing, running around with different men or flunking out of school. It is one of the meanings of Delikadesa – pride in doing the right thing.

Filipinas are understanding, patient and composed.

Most Filipinas  would never engage in a quarrel or a loud argument simply because this wouldn’t suit a real Lady . They are taught to speak politely, with a gentle tone of voice. Arguing is just not acceptable, along with public criticism. This soft spoken, quiet and understanding nature of the Filipina Ladies is the desired trait that Filipinas strive towards.

Filipinas are generous and naturally caring and supportive.

The common spirit of survival has united the Filipinos for centuries making generosity and loyalty towards family a time-honored tradition. The caring and supportive nature of the Filipinas is apparent in the fact that there are no booming businesses for retirement homes or orphanages in the Philippines – they would never abandon a child or a member of the family in need.

    Filipinas believe in a one-man one-woman relationship.

Since there is no “absolute divorce” in the Philippines , Filipinas are raised with a high regard for the sanctity of marriage and consider it a life long commitment. Some, in fact many who marry these Filipina beauties, swear they make the best wives in the world – loyal, loving and faithful past death.

Filipinas put family first before money.

Faithfulness to the family is a tradition that is characteristic of the Filipino society. To the Filipina, family will always remain a great priority. Filipino women , whom many would consider as coming from a relatively poor country, view the close loving bonds of their family as their wealth. They are more willing to sacrifice career than a family.

    Filipinas are excellent home keepers.

Filipinas equate domestic responsibility with being a good wife – their home is a great source of pride for them and they do their best to create a warm and loving environment for their family. For the Filipina even yelling at home would mean de-facing her home so you will probably never find a proper Filipina woman screaming or breaking dishes.

    Filipinas are well educated.

The Philippine culture attaches great importance to college education. Pride in accomplishment at school is instilled in Filipinas since their childhood and female college enrollment even exceeds that of the male. This affects the social positions too. Unlike other Asian countries where women tend to be in more subservient positions, the Philippine businesses are more accepting of women performing business. This is apparent with the current Philippine president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo – the second Philippine woman to hold this esteemed position.

  Filipinas are religious.

The Philippines is predominantly Roman Catholic ( the only Christian nation in the Far East ) and it is common amongst Philippine families to raise their children in the church. So don’t be surprised if your Filipina girl is more devoted to her religion than you are to yours.

   Filipinas – are great women…

     Great wives and great friends…

I am an American born and raised. About 4 years ago I tried the online dating scene. Found a Filipino bride and married her over 2 years ago. However it was not with out finding at least 20 scammers first. Wasting time and money.

PostHeaderIcon The Importance Of Grading Areas In Your Garden

Not all houses have perfect surroundings that will be easy to transform into outdoor recreation and entertainment areas with good lawns and gardens. It is frequently necessary to undertake some construction projects to obtain the quality and type of outdoor area you want. One of the basic construction problems for any landscaping task is grading the soil. Generally, grading means building a slope into the garden area. Sloping ensures that there is proper drainage, and it can make the house look better while allowing for easier maintenance.

Whether you want to have a garden, a lawn, or a terrace, you must do your grading first. The best time to grade is when a home is being constructed, since it is relatively simple to add a few inches between the entrance level and the ground level at this point. Just a few inches can ease the creation of a grade away from the house to improve its appearance and make for a drier basement, if you have one.

It is difficult to measure a grade by eye. Even professionals cannot do this. You should use a piece of twine as a guide. Pull the twine tight between two sticks imbedded in the ground. Once you have completed the rough work for levelling, use a long board as a straight edge on the ground to make sure you have been accurate. Rough grading is the first step in landscape construction. The extent of the grading depends on the condition of the ground and what ground levels are desired. You must also pay attention if there are extreme slopes and try to keep as closely as possible to natural contours. This reduces the expense of grading in a big way.

Begin grading by stripping and separating topsoil from the areas where the level is to be altered. Even if you are grading for a stone or concrete terrace, you should save the topsoil. You can spread the topsoil in areas where it is thin, or you can use it a flower garden and save yourself some money. Once you have stripped the topsoil, subsoil can be graded to the desired contours, leaving space for adding the topsoil that has been removed. You should also plan to have a slope for every one-hundred feet of lawn. The same measurement can be applied to a stone terrace to prevent pools of water to develop during periods of rain.

When you level an area for a terrace, you do not need to insert subsoil drainage. Just save the topsoil. For nearly all terraces, it is good practice to tamp the soil down and even to put a layer of gravel cinder or crushed rock as a base for the terrace. Terraces typically require a level area, but the grade that slopes away from the house should be maintained.

ADN or BSN? Which is best route and what are the benefits?
So I know I want to be an RN and I am actively in the process of completely prerequisites for a program at Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga, California–it’s a community college that offer the ADN. The good thing roughly it is that it will get me to RN, is close by, and affordable thanks to charge waivers. I already attend college there so it’s most convenient. BUT> I am getting an itch to accomplish a Bachelors Degree as a personal goal. The colleges that propose BSN are not that close and I am leary about cost and commuting. The big draw is that if I go to a 4-year for RN I knock out the schooling, bring a career AND get a bachelors scope. Is it really worth it to go for BSN and why or why not? I know having a Masters open a lot more oppetunities but my goal right in a minute is RN. I need a push! What should I do? thanks!

I have two Associates degree’s within computer repair and business networking but can’t really find a career contained by that field where I live and can’t move as of this time. I call for help deciding whether I should be in motion ahead and get my medic or if I should just procure my Advanced and see how I like it first. Naturally, i’m pretty (and by “pretty” i miserable i can’t even think of something else i’d rather do) sure that this is want i want to do near my life. I would like to any become an RN and go to the Emergency Room, or start as an ER tech. (if those don’t exist then my research have failed me). Either way, I’d resembling to get into the ER somehow. My question is if it is as truly rewarding and rich as it seems, and would you recommend getting into the medical field? I would love to fashion a difference (no matter how small) in peoples lives, and since I’m surrounded by High School I figured it’s time to start preparing. Also, any advice/experiences you could share with me would be GREATLY appreciated, honestly. Sorry if this is more info. than answer, ha ha

My husband is a massage therapist and is hitting adjectives the barriers we knew he would (having an impossible time finding a profession that offers medical insurance and making enough money) and it is time he go back to school. He is thinking of becoming and RN – but one of the posters on my second question brought up a good point… that nursing is relatively different from massage therapy. PostHeaderIcon How to Help your Child Get Great Grades

When parents ask me to coach their teenagers they inevitably want their child’s school grades to improve and seem a little shocked when I say, “Yes, that’s easy.”

Like Susan, who sent her 13-year-old to me. Grace was doing OK at school, however her parents wanted to get her into a better school and to do that her grades needed to improve. Grace was enrolled in one of my coaching programmes and by the end of the programme her predicted C grades had become A and B, with a 100% pass rate in science a previously disliked subject.

How did we do it? The answer is to know your child’s learning style. When you do, you can help them to help themselves. Coupled with understanding what motivates them, what drives them and their perspective of the world, you can motivate any teenager to improve their schoolwork.

So this week I though I would share with you my guide to learning styles:

Learning style is the way in which you learn most easily, knowing this can make studying much easier. People learn in four ways, through reading, listening, doing or graphics and we will discuss each one.

Reading — these people learn mostly by reading and writing; this is predominately the style taught at school. When studying, they read and make lots of notes. This style is known as verbal memory.

Listening — These people learn most by hearing something spoken to them. In class they are likely to enjoy discussion where people are talking and get bored when there is writing to be done. When studying they may read and talk out loud or tape themselves and listen at a later date. They will also ask others to question them so they can speak their answers. This style is knows as tonal memory.

Doing — these people learn by movement in some way. These will be the students constantly fidgeting at school, they cannot sit still. In studying they are likely to walk around and make up rhythmic songs and poems. These students may benefit from studying with either the TV and radio on and also may hum or sing while they are studying. This style is known as rhythm memory.

Graphics — these people learn by seeing pictures, tables or graphs. When studying, they are likely to draw pictures and put information into tables and boxes, they also will enjoy using mind maps. This style is known as design memory.

Action

Think of a time that your child was studying recently and the methods they used.

Which one of these four do you think they are and why? Ask your teen and see if you are right.

Write a list of 5 ways you can support your teenager’s learning style now you have discovered what it is. For example, telling your child to switch off the TV while studying may not be the right things to do, depending on their learning style.

So, if we go back to Grace, she was typical in that her Mum made her do her homework in a room all by herself with no noise. Grace found this very hard and as we worked together we found that she was very high in rhythm memory. So we began to do things like introduce a radio into the room where she was studying, studying while walking around the room and making up songs and poems. The results were incredible. As for the science exam, she made up a song about the valancy table while playing the guitar at the same time — it worked a treat and is just what someone with high rhythm memory needs. I should know, as this is my greatest learning style. When I was in the police, I learned every piece of legislation to a song and I can tell you, it took me all my might not to sing the charges to someone as I was arresting them! In fact if you asked me now, I could still sing the Theft Act to you. You play it, I’ll sing it!
